If you try playing it on a 360 as a brand new player the update will fail to download. As long as you had purchased and downloaded the DLC's beforehand the update required is in the files thankfully.

I've been boosting by myself on EA play, Series X with all DLC downloaded and it's been working fine.Yeah, I can 100% confirm since I got all of the multiplayer done last month that playing through the EA Play version circumvents the update issue if you're starting it new. I have heard some people say they can't access multiplayer period if they don't have the update so you can only play on Xbox One/Series S/X backwards compatibility / EA Play. The other 10 are for the Vietnam DLC, the game came with an free update which adds the menu for Vietnam when the DLC came out - the update has been removed for people that didn't download the update already so unless you downloaded the update and have bought the DLC. It's fine as long as you get all of the normal achievements first. I'm confused, because the server closure date is set for the end of the year, but there are already 18 discontinued achievements for this game?8 of the partially discontinued achievements are due to a glitch in onslaught mode where if you get the Hardcore mode achievements first it can permanently lock you out of getting the normal mode ones.
